Alison Baker

Alison BakerAlison Baker is a Paralegal at Hazan Hollander and student at the University of Technology Sydney, where she is undertaking her final year of a combined degree in law and journalism.

In her study of law, Alison is a candidate for Honours and is currently completing her research thesis. She received recognition from the Law Faculty for high overall academic achievement in 2006 and was a joint recipient of the Law Society of NSW Prize for Best Performance in Real Property in 2005.

In her journalism studies, Alison has majored in print journalism and editing, and has been involved in editing and research for the Grassroots student reporting project for the Sydney Morning Herald online.

Alison brings her skills of critical enquiry and clarity of expression to her work at Hazan Hollander, where she is a member of our investigatory team targeting illegal internet sales and our trade marks team. She also carries out legal research, drafting, and review of legal documents.


Rishi Grealy

Vinod KumarRishi Grealy is a graduate of the Australian National University with a combines degree in Commerce and Law (B.Comm, LL.B). She is presently completing requirements and expects to be admitted as a Legal Practitioner at the end of 2008.

Throughout her studies, Rishi has excelled academically and achieved membership of the International Gold Key Honour Society. As a student of commerce, Rishi has a particular interest in international business and intellectual property law.

Rishi's diverse experiences at a range of organisations, including the Youth Law Centre in Canberra , the Australian Fisheries Management Authority and Haven Licensing, have assisted in developing the analytical skills and interest in people that today make her a key member of Hazan Hollander's investigatory and trade mark teams.

She has extensive experience in licensing of Intellectual Property rights and will be working closely with our clients involved with drafting and negotiating licensing arrangements and copyright.


Vinod Kumar

Vinod KumarVinod Kumar is a Paralegal at Hazan Hollander and student at the University of Technology Sydney. Vinod is currently undertaking a combined degree in applied physics and law.

As a physics student, Vinod has maintained a particular focus on the most recent advances in quantum, nuclear and nanotechnologies, providing research assistance at the university in these areas.

Vinod's scientific approach and skills are valuable to his legal work at Hazan Hollander where he is a member of our investigatory team targeting illegal internet sales and our trade marks team. With a background in computational science, Vinod helps to review and amend computer software licences and agreements, and assists in carrying out legal research.



Laura Marafioti

Laura MarafiotiLaura Marafioti is Hazan Hollander’s legal secretary and has extensive experience in retail and customer service. Her skills in administration and IT support ensure the smooth running of our office and the maintenance of a first-rate IT system.

Laura is the first point of contact for clients, administrative requests and accounting, where her friendliness, attention to detail and efficiency helps ensure that we can provide our clients with the best service possible.

As part of our trade marks team, Laura also provides invaluable support in managing trade mark renewals and portfolios.
